Represent members in matters involving the
American Kennel Club; other fellow PHA members, and at
dog show events throughout the United States.

Maintain a central office staffed to respond to
member requests for assistance and serve as a resource
for information.

Publish an informative newsletter containing Board
of Directors meeting recaps, current Association news
topics, and other articles of interest the
membership.

Distribute an Association membership roster to the
dog fancy and other informative brochures.

Advance on-going education of members on the sport
of showing dogs by sponsoring open forums, functions,
seminars, lectures and demonstrations.

Host Association (Zone) meetings allowing members
the opportunity to meet their colleagues and dialogue
over common problems and issues pertaining to the sport
of showing dogs.

Promote the improvement of and camaraderie
associated with the sport of showing dogs through offers
of support to show-giving clubs, for example, grooming
space and parking planning and organization; judging of
dog matches; and guest lecturing.

Offer to qualified handlers membership in an
association of professionals having over sixty-years of
experience in serving the dog fancy and promoting the
sport of showing dogs.
